Rodarte s/s 2010, Directed by photographer Todd Cole
I love the beginning with the inkers because it reminds me of my industrial photography class. It looks so cool! I think I just had spurts of ideas from watching this eerie, avant garde film. Rodarte you are impressive.
While I spent my week break back in my home town, my cousin Michelle, her friends & I met up to have a fun photo session at the Almond Tree orchards. As you can already notice, the blossoms have already fallen from the trees, creating a pink blanket of what looks to be like snow on the ground. It was beautiful. Spring is beautiful.
Now I’m back in Santa Barbara with a full-time internship to Slickforce Studios. It was Model Kamp over the weekend with full day photo shoots in the studio and the Mojave Desert. It was such an awesome experience to be working with the team who have such amazing personalities and energy. My body was completely aching Saturday and Sunday, but it was well worth it. With my grad review coming up in the first week of April, there is still a final portfolio to be built before that time. So keep yourself posted on the new work this entire month. Sorry, it’s been awhile since I’ve really posted any photos. My goal is getting a new computer this month so which me luck my friends!!
“We Breathe. We Pulse. We Regenerate. Our hearts beat. Our minds create. Our souls ingest. Thirty-seven seconds, well used, is a lifetime. “

This is the outcome from my shoot today in Oxnard where I met up with Hayle. It was super windy so I didn’t even need a fan to blow her long hair ha-ha. It was a lot of fun. More to come so check back soon.
*sidenote: I used a Canon 24mm Tilt Shift lens to create the selective focus effect.
A collage piece and inspiration for my over the top shoot this coming Sunday. It’s definitely going to be over the top. Look at the turn out from the shoot next week.
