While I spent my week break back in my home town, my cousin Michelle, her friends & I met up to have a fun photo session at the Almond Tree orchards.  As you can already notice, the blossoms have already fallen from the trees, creating a pink blanket of what looks to be like snow on the ground.  It was beautiful.  Spring is beautiful.
Now I’m back in Santa Barbara with a full-time internship to Slickforce Studios.  It was Model Kamp over the weekend with full day photo shoots in the studio and the Mojave Desert.  It was such an awesome experience to be working with the team who have such amazing personalities and energy.  My body was completely aching Saturday and Sunday, but it was well worth it.  With my grad review coming up in the first week of April, there is still a final portfolio to be built before that time.  So keep yourself posted on the new work this entire month.  Sorry, it’s been awhile since I’ve really posted any photos.  My goal is getting a new computer this month so which me luck my friends!!

*I personally love this photograph.  Shai’La is so amazing as a person and a model.  I had the greatest time working with her for this shoot.  I’m very happy with the turn out of this photo shoot.  What do you all think?

With the session finally ending next week there are still a lot of work ahead of me.  I’m working on a bunch of shoots Friday-Sunday and getting my portfolio all wrapped up by next Thursday.  Once that’s over, a week later will be the beginning I take on the role as an intern photo assistant for Nick at Slickforce Studios in LA.  I’ve checked out the studio and met half of the amazing crew during their invitation to one of their weekend photo sessions last week.  I’m so excited to gain more experience in the industry with close to four months left before graduation.

The pressure is definitely on and more work is needed to be done.  Wish me luck friends.

’”I’ve come to the conclusion that enthusiasm is perhaps the greatest asset anyone can have. It is the key ingredient to success. You can have a wealth of skills, but if your heart is not in it, your work will reflect it. If you have enthusiasm, you will find the energy to acquire the necessary skills and draw to you all the people and support you need to succeed. enthusiasm beats power, money and influence.”
